Problem while updating my xperia s

While updating my xperia s with pc companion the phone switched off and when i'm trying to open it the only thing appears on the screen after the phone vibrates is an image of mobile and caution sign i can't open my phone or use it.

any help please?

Have you tried updating your phone again? I'd suggest using the Update Service tool:

My phone did a similar thing and the software would not fix the problem unless I plugged the phone into the back of my computer (into the motherboard). The USB on the front of the computer would not work to fix the phone.
