problem using headset

i have my using the headaset provided in the box of xperia sola ,

but now from a past few weeks its not working first i thought my headset tht got problem ,

but its working fine on other phone ,

i tested some other 5.5 mm jack headset but it was of no use

i came to the conclusion that my phone headset port had got damaged

what should i do now ??

check for dust on the 3.5mm jack connector

First of all, make sure to try with headset's that uses 3,5mm connectors like uliwooly mentions.

If no one works it sounds like it would be wise to let one of our authorized service shops have a look at your phone.
