the new "Album" app v6.5.A.0.10 default launch view no longer groups images by folder… it now requires 2 steps to get to "Folders":smileyangry:
the default launch view, unfortunately, is not compatible with Facebook app's "Camera Roll" feature… I no longer see all the photos I've taken with my Z1s, when I try to upload them via Facebook app's "Camera Roll"… instead I randomly see some of the photos I've taken with my Z1s mixed with some photos I've received with other apps (photos I don't want to upload to Facebook):smileyangry:
This is the way it is by default however you can connect your device to a Pc and create folders and sort your images that way then via your album app tap the top left corner and select Folders
@Thommo, please test and take a bunch of (over 15) pictures with a Z1s (with other photos from other apps) and try uploading them with the latest Facebook app… let me know, if you see all the photos you've taken.
That I can't do - I don't do Twitter, Facebook or anything remotely like sharing my life for self gratification
oh and I also don't do photo's - My phone is so my customers can ring me or I them
@Thommo, I bought my Z1s (almost a year ago) primarily for the camera… at the time of its launch, it was the best camera on an Android phone…
I use Facebook to communicate with select family & friends around the world… my Facebook profile isn't for popularity…
I prefer to upload photos I've take directly from my Z1s, usually right after I've taken several photos, instead of waiting to plug it to a computer…
if I wanted to use a phone just to ring, I won't bother getting a smartphone; I'd just get the thinnest clamshell phone…
what is your phone?
I have several but because I own a business and help to run a school I have a lot of emails daily and often switch between phones depending on who I meet or what I'm doing however Sony phones only I have the Z1, Z Ultra and M2 - I do have other manufactures devices but you could say my main daily device is the Z Ultra
