Hi,
I try to connect my z2 tablet to 2 different routers which deliver a "300Mbps" signal (150mbps in fact, verified with a PC).
The maximum speed connection is limited to 75mbps on the tablet (which is very close from the router).
We can see : "Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot" in the specifications, is there something that i don't understand ?
Thanks
disconnect your z2 and reconnect to the router as other devices have been connected for a longer period to the router so reconnect your device by deleting the connection and starting afresh
Thanks you for youre (fast) help but i've already done this with no results.
Hello,
I am experiencing some speed problems with my Z2. I have a router (Fritzbox) which has a 300 Mbps WLAN (my PC runs this speed with the box), but the Z2 only connects with 72 Mbps. I read, that is is even capable of 802.11ac, so I would expect to be bale to use 802.11n.
What is wrong or how can I set the phone to speed up the WLAN connection?
Thanks to everybody with a solution.
Peter
Did you try to change the router protocol to WPA2?
Yes, i've already try this and it's not the solution.

It might be hardware limitation,I think this has been seen on other devices.
Same like berbar. WPA2 set, other devices have 300 Mbps, Z2 only 72 Mbps.
Contact a staff member as I have posted above.
I have this problem on my Z2 tablet as well as on my Acro S. I just got a brand new router aswell. Speed on my PC is fine.
