problem in updating on wi-fi

How can I update my xperia p application through a wifi ,which is  enabled proxy and authentication with pc companion ? The pc companion has it own proxy setting, but no authentication is asking . and when i going to update my phone,the message showing "sony update engine failure"(error 1100).

Not sure if it will work if you are required to enter a user/pass for the proxy. You could set PC Companion to use system settings instead and make sure you have correct setting under Controlpanel ->  Internet options and see if it works.
