Hi,
I have bought a new xperia M dual sim mobile on last friday. I shared a file (songs, photos, applications) through bluetooth from another mobile (xperia tipo).
I have inserted SD card(san disk). All the shared files are stored in internal storage. Its not stored in SD card. After this issue i contacted my friend who has Xperia M single sim mobile.
I checked in the xperia M single sim phone settings-->storage-->SD card-->miscellanous(transfer data to SD card).
i checked the same in my phone's settings ... the miscellaneous (transfer data to SD card) part is missing.
So i assume this is my phone's problem.
So could you please help me to rectify the issue.
Regards,
Ramesh
I don't know of any way to change the default folder used for files received over bluetooth or downloaded files but with some browsers like Opera you can select which folder to save files in. In Opera, select Downloads -> [menu] -> Settings -> Download folder and then browse to the folder where you want to save the files.
Hi ramesh , Sorry for the late reply.
Me too facing same issue. when i get some files via bluetooth or internet it is directly saving in intermal pnone memory not in SD card.
we want to move it all the time manually by using some file manager software, which is not a good thing.
Anyone from sony,
Could you please answer us.
I saw you mentioned to change opera mini download path, even in that it is showing only internal memory(frustrating).
and as said before bluetooth files are going into phone memory. Please give us some fix.
Hello Ramesh,
I found one idea for these file transfer to SD.
I have downloaded latest version of "Dophin browser" which supports save file to SD.
Also dowloaded "fast file transfer" from googleplay..using this you can transfer file via WiFi(i got upto 3 Mbps tranfer rate).
So using this you can save the file to SD card.
upto my knowledge this is the only solution...:) to this problem for now!!
Press kudos if you are ok with this solution!:)
Thanks
Sir,
Go to file commander-->Internal storage-->U'll b able to see all images,songs,movies,videos.. which are transferred via bluetooth or any other app (e.g in case of flash transfer.. a separate folder of flash transfer will appear), u may also check 'Received' folder.. --> select all those files u wish to move (use 'Edit' to select all) --> Now 'Cut' those files and (they will still appear, dont worry) tap on back button. --> Go to Sdcard1-->'Edit' and then Paste.
Check your storage which is in 'Settings', check available space in internal memory and used space in sd card.
Hope it works!
Lemme know if it does. Regards.
