Price for a new screen

Hi,

I am trying to find out how much Sony currently charge for a new screen.  Anybody had screen replacment in the last couple of months and can say how much it cost? The repair support webpages look like they might say, but they have not been populated with repair prices for the Z3C.

I have seen Sony prices quoted on old posts in forums ranging from £108-150.  Independent quotes have been £140-181. One indie shop told me that Sony would charge as much as a new phone!  But at least they were honest and up front about not giving a warranty because getting the screen to glue flat is very hard, and that bump could make the screen crack.  I assume that Sony would do a warranty, and if the £108 still holds then they are by far the best value.

So, I am trying to get a handle on what it might cost, without risking the return courier fee if the indie shop ends up being correct.

There is no world wide set price - This is something you would need to take up with Xperia care or the service centre, You could also try a DIY repair but this would void any warranty and the waterproof would probably stop working unless you are able to perform a vacuum test

you have to contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/, I'm in the Uk but could give a price probably because I'd do a DIY job or I know people who can do it
