Predictive emoji gone

I have updated to 5.1.1 and predictive emoji gone, can I get it back? Also can I change the colour of the word bar from pink? Thanks

Could you elaborate on the "predictive emoji" ? which app are you using?

When writing text messages, I had it on previous android version

Have you added the emoji icon to the keyboard?

Yeah it's on the keyboard bottom row 2nd from left, keyboard is exact same as before update

And you used to get predictive emojis? if that's so, you will have to wait for your phone to learn your typing patterns again.

Yeah I did. So I will need to start using them manually until the phone learns them? I'm sure it didn't have to learn them before or maybe I'm wrong.

And what about the pink word bar when typing can I change the colour of that?

That's probably to the theme you're using, go to Personalisation, Themes and see what it is set to.

I'm on green theme so don't know where the pink is from lol this new android is a bit weird
