PPC Backup & Restore

Just want to say , that Backup & Restore with PPC is not working on Xperia M2.

At least, when doing a Restore absolutly nothing is restored, simply empty.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have not heard that there should be any issues using Xperia M2 and Backup & Restore. Do you get any error messages?

No, there is no error message.

On my PC , there are files ending with *.dbk and they are not empty. I did 2 times Backup and I have 2 files one is 1,2Mb the other is 7,2Gb.

1,2mb sounds a bit small but of course it depends on what the content is. But if I understand you correctly you can't restore any of these?

After finishing the Restore I look in the Phone and there is nothing restored, no Apps, no SMS, no Notes, nothing at all.

All the process of Backingup and Restoring looks normal, the activity of the all process seems OK but at the end there is nothing on the Phone.

Thinking about the File Sizes, your are right, I have over 3GB used of Internal Memory so it is strange that the Backup size is only 1,2Mb. On the other hand how can it be that that a Backup has 7,2 Gb when the Internal memory is only 5Gb?

Anyway , I have done a Backup with the Phone App Backup and Restore, so I could get all things back.

By the way , I had done several Backup´s everytime there was a Firmware update so I had over 4 Backup´s on the SD Card, but last time I wanted to Restore I only had the Last one. What happene to the older Backup´s?

For me the always fails to backup message read not enough space on sd card but sd card has nothing on it infact i have erase all content on it still the same message
