POWER KEY(PHONE LOCK ON/OFF) AND VOLUME DOWN KEY ARE NOT WORKING

I KEPT MY PHONE OFF FOR SOME 4,5 HOURS, WHEN I SWITCHED IT ON I FOUND THAT VOLUME DOWN KEY IS NOT WORKING. ALSO THE PHONE LOCK KEY WORKS WHEN I UNLOCK THE PHONE BUT IT DOESNT LOCK AGAIN WHEN I DO IT. IT GETS LOCKED ITSELF BY THE TIME-OUT. I HAVE ALSO TRIED WITH THE RESET KEY, BUT THE RESULT IS UNCHANGED. HELP ME OUT.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

SO I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF USING THAT SMALL HOLE AT THE BACK SIDE AND THEN GO TO THE UPDATE WITH CONNECTED USB TO PHONE? IS IT?

AND MY VOLUME DOWN KEY IS ALSO NOT WORKING SO IS THERE WILL BE A TIME BEFORE UPDATE WHEN I HAVE TO USE THIS VOLUME DOWN KEY?

On a side note, you should refrain from SCREAMING, ALL UPPERCASE = SCREAM. thank you

If the volume down key isn't working then you must contact your local Xperia Care Center

Power button is not working, lower volume also phone automatically turns to Safe mode, all applications stop worked and not displayed to home screen, its my biggest mistake to Buy this XPERIA. Totally screwed up, now just tell mesolution or else I throw it to Dustbin
