power button & lock

hi!  is it possible to use the power button as a lock? it's a tiny bit annoying to have to push that and then swipe the lock bar, as well to access the phone. or is there a way to just turn off the swipe bar? thanks

You should be able to change the screen lock function via Settings > Security > Screen lock > Choose "None".
