Thanks Guyz .....
frnds ... i have observed my unlock slide is very lagging and very irresponsive over touch...
i m still in GB ... wil update to ICS fix this issue or i must take it to service center ??
I have updated my Neo V to ICS yesterday and i am happy with the update..
The new UI is good. There is both increase in free memory and RAM(Many apps that were useless are not there anymore)....
Till now there had been no lags except while opening the contacts...which i think is ok type....
I updated my Ray to ICS yesterday...but immediately had to repair it due to some accelerometer issue..but after the repair, ICS is working fine..
The interface is cool, RAM management is good, an little increase in internal memory....:)
It would have been better if Sony included the Xperia S music player in this update...nevertheless, I downloaded the Xperia S music player apk and installed it...
Word of Caution though, equaliser will not work in this music player..but, I downloaded one from the market and have found the sound quality be far superior than the stock music player..
Oh and, for the face unlock to work, the latest version of Flash player needs to be installed.(It is not included in the ICS upgrade)..
Overall, I am loving ICS....
Phone : Xperia Neo V (MT11i) with ICS
Keep coming good reviews ( India).....
Sony ICS is not that bad as many Xperians are complaining... after 24 hours of using ICS, till now i dont have any Wifi issues and am happy with that.. Only issue is with the Dailer Slow Response.
Some Apps and Games are not yet compatiable with ICS and i think after a month or so it will not be a problem as Developers are aware of this new ICS upgraded devices.
Hoping Sony will come up with Android 4.0.4 for 2011 Xperia handsets after their NXT series ICS upgradation later this year.
Give it a try!!!
Dont take it seriously guyz
Do you watch Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV, with a character called Baagha
Jaise jiski sonch!!
Did i oversaid.....
YESTERDAY,i updated my xperia ray to ics in india and found it prity cool there was nothing like stability issues like many were saying
it is perfactly working and stable so dont panic like i was:smileysilly:
but before updating i researched much on it and found some points of worth noting like
1.i update my phone through SEupdate service software which availabe at se site
2.i fully formated my phone to factory setting though u should make contact and other backups.
3.listen what performance assistance want to say after instalation
4.i personally think that xperia ray users are not power users but if u r one then u take care of high end gaming
lastly
THINKS THAT I LIKE
1SMOOTH INTERFACING
2.It work more beautifully then gb
3.it has one developer option through which u can adjust transition effect, animation effect and many other
THINKS I DONT LIKE
1.battery daining is very fast
2.face detection is good but is not reliable
THE DIALER ISSUE
i think it is one time issue
when u open it after a long time or for first time ,it feels slow because of xperias new resourse management,
when u not use it for long time the resources are alocated to any other thing
POINT TO BE NOTED
1 u should use dialer more often(which is not possible as every one uses it as they need it )
2 do not remove (contact or dialer thumbnail) from the recently used app
Hi Hasanslink,
I got a doubt, do we factory reset the pohne after installing ICS or before installing ICS??
I have xperia neo V.. I m also planning to update to ICS. PLease reply.
before updating to ics, there is a option in se update service software
Ok can u plz answer my few questions??
1. if I factory reset my phone.. contents on memory card will also get erased ???
2. How to contacts backup??
3. How is ICS working for you?
