Podcast app removed?

Recently i replaced my Z1 compact for XA. In my Z1c I had this amazing Podcast app (in the Music app). But i can't find it now. I looked it up in Movies and Music app.

I prefer to use Sony Mobile Communication apps. Can I use the Sony Podcast app in my XA?

Are you sure that it was from Sony? do you have your Z1C around ?

My Z1c won't start anymore so I can't check it for you. But I open the Podcast feature within my Music app. So I'm pretty sure it is from Sony.

I've just checked a Z5, Z5 Premium, Z3, etc and they still have it but when I checked my Xperia X it is missing, quite odd, you might want to contact the app developers and I'll escalate this.

I will contact the app developers and hopefully they can put this feature into the X-series as well

Hi @SL12,

The Podcast feature has unfortunately been removed from the Music app in the X series. I suggest that you search Google Play for alternative apps that you could use.
