WOW! This forum is harsh! I have read many others about the Satio, but none with so many unhappy people! And on the "official" SE website too!
Yes, I am just one poor sole sitting at my little PC in South Africa, but I am sure I speak for THOUSANDS of others...
OK... I do have a Satio. I am also waiting (and hoping!!!) that SE will do something about the software... I am still on the 037 software, but now it looks like you have even blocked upgrades to the newer 006 version????
I just keep getting the same thing that I already have the latest version everytime I try to do an upgrade!!!!! Not much I can do about that now anyways...
I am also tired of ranting and raving about the issues with this phone! I have been reading about all these other wonderfull releases and updates that other guys in community have been doing in their own capacity, so why not just let them carry on the work for you?
I truly believe that the Satio could be a fantastic phone, but just dropping it, and us, like you have is really not good for future business!
Yes, you guys have spent millions on the launch of the Satio with fancy adverts and the likes!
Yes, you guys have possible lost a lot of money trying to keep the prices down!
But if you just released a final working, or unlocked, version, you would then get thousands more people to buy the phone because others would be able to keep on perfecting it!
I have been using Sony and Sony Ericsson products for over 20 years now, but to start getting terrible service and "I don't give a damn" attitudes from Sony like this is really starting to make me think otherwise!
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can somebody just let us know if we are all wasting our time with the Satio and our breath with the comments.
Please can you guys and/or gals at SE get back to us with some positive feedback?
To be honest, you guys are really in a sticky stuation here.
Do you fix the phone with and "open" software version and regain the confidence or 10's of thousands (possibly millions!!!) of customers?
Or do you just hide in the corner and hope we all just eventually go away?
Again, it is your choice at the end of the day, but to keep quiet like this for so long is just not on....
OH, I also read somewhere on another forum (could have been this one?!?!) that you guys do read all the comments that are posted and do take ALL suggestions in for future developements with new phones....
I think that after the Satio revolution has run it's course, you won't need to worry about those comments because nobody will want SE phones anymore!
LOL! People are even complaining about the new X10 phone with the Android OS on it!
Anyways. Please take what I have said into concideration and PLEASE get somebody to actually tell us what is going on....
Do we throw the Satio in the bin and buy a Samsung or iPhone or do we just hold on for a bit for the long awaited and needed SE Satio upgrade?
