Picture received from iPhone blurry and pixalated why?

Let's face it a large portion of the world have iphones. So why when they take a good picture and decide to send it to us do we get a blurry pixalated image or video???????

If xperia 5 phones are meant to have some of the best cameras etc surely they can process an image that is received and make it better.

Very much considering reverting back to iPhone l there isn't an easy solution

@Kinghosem

Could you elaborate? are you saying that the pictures you received from iPhones are blurry? that doesn't seem to be a problem with your phone, which app are they using to send the picture?

sometime the image enhancements ( x reality etc) takes a while to process the image. so staying on the picture for awhile you will see the sharpened image, however, if you could show some screenshots  it would be better

Surely the quality of the image is down to the iPhone?
Check they are sending full size and that file limitations aren't at play.

So my wife has an iPhone 5 my mate n iPhone 6. They take standard pictures which are clear and great pics when viewing on the iPhone though when sent to xperia 5 they are bad. Pixalated and blurry and terrible quality.
Why?
I am using a xperia 5 with standard settings etc and receiving images and video files through mms and sms

Hi @Kinghosem,

Welcome to the community.

Images sent via MMS are usually compressed significantly in order to fit a size limit, could potentially be part of the problem. What happens if the images are sent via email or instant messaging?

As others have requested, if you could provide some screenshots it would be really helpful to identify the issue.

How do you add a screenshot or attachment on a forum

Either through a computer or scroll down and tap on Full

Could you answer the above questions?

Think I have answered most. Not sure in relation to images / videos sent via email as I will have to ask someone to resend them via this option and don't have that option right now. In relation to waiting for the images to De pixalate or wait for images / videos to get clearer I would be waiting a lifetime as they have never gotten better.
