Phone Vibrate

HELP HELP !!

Since last evening my xperia U is not vibrating !!

It vibrates only when I get a call ... Otherwise it is not vibrating for message notifications !

I checked all the settings n put on the vibration everywhere ... But still it isn't vibrating !! I even tried restarting it several times ... Also removed the battery once ... but didn't work ...

When I connected my phone to SUS, it started downloading some software update 😐

Where do i get repair option ???

once you connect your phone it will tell you if you have an update or that you have the latest software if so at the bottom corner you can see a button that says install

Before repairing or updating u may try following

1) switch off vibrate thro the settings menu (vibrate never). This should not let ur phone vibrate in call mode or even in silent mode. If this is ok then

2) Put vibrate setting only when sound is off. Then put notification settings to No sound ie. sound > never (no tone sound chosen)

This should work.

If (1) does not work ie phone vibration in call can not be switched off then try repairing and updating

But the thing is ... I already started updating ...

After the update is done, can i try the above procedure ??? Will it work ?

it is a normal stting procedure ! Make sure always ur phone battery is full while going for update. Let me know the build number u have updated to.

I still have old build B.1.564. So can u post if possible if u found there is any improvement in this build ?
