Phone software update information currently not accessible

My Xperia U (software version .184) is super slow and crashes often especially when using my contacts trying to send an SMS message.

It takes up to 3 minutes and even then sometime crashes.

Now I am trying to get my phone "repaired" again using the PC companion.

Since yesterday I receive the error message "phone software update information currently not accessible".

Any advice?

Use SUS (SONY Updating Service) instead of it.PCC has alot of bugs. but you can shut down your phone and reset your PC and  test it again.it work for me
