Hi there my phone starts dimming for no apparent reason, the screen will sometimes be normal, then the screen dims itself to the point where I cannot see what I'm typing.this started three days ago.

Check if you have the brightness set to 'adapt to lightning conditions'. Go to settings > display > brightness. Try to disable it and restart your phone.
I experience the same problem when i over use my phone while charging or playing too much games or recording a video continuosly from time to time. But it can be remedy by turning off your phone for a few minutes then turn it back on.
