Phone's LCD is damaged/broken and cannot access internal storage

I recently had my phone's LCD broken and cannot get through the internal storage because the screen is locked with a passcode. I have tried to connect the phone on a PC (wishing that it might still read the internal memory of the phone) but sadly it says that the storage is "empty". Slightly_frowning_Face

I already have read some forums here and tried to do the suggested steps but nothing works. Please help me.

I just need to get my photos back. Slightly_frowning_Face Slightly_frowning_Face

You could buy an USB OTG cable > connect a mouse > unlock the phone, that's assuming that the LCD is still working and only the digitizer/touchscreen was affected

@uliwooly I believe the LCD is not really working because the screen is all black. It is not displaying anything even if the phone is open.

I'm sorry to say this but I don't think it'll be possible, you could use an MHL cable but that will only display the screen on a TV/Monitor.

If I use an MHL cable, will I be able to somehow control the content of my phone?

that's the problem, a 5-pin MHL cable can only display the content of your phone not control it, I'm sorry.
