Phone performance/responsiveness bad while charging/hdmi

Hello there,

my phone's performance is really bad when connected to hdmi. It seems that I only have half of the frames compared to normal phone usage. The worst part about this is, that the phone doesn't respond as it should. When tapping on the screen, a short tap is recognized as a long press and the sensitive buttons only respond when tapping twice (eventhough the vibration comes with the first tap but nothing happens). Sometimes they even don't respond. This also applies when the phone is charged with the delivered charger.

So what's wrong with my phone? Is this a software or hardware issue? I'm on original android 4.0.4 ics update 6.1.A.0.452

Regards

I already did a factory reset... This problem was present in GB and also ICS... Something I noticed: when the screen is clean the error is not as present as when it is full of fingerprints.. Is this a fluid electrostatic kind of issue?

you better hope its not related to fluid, your warranty wont cover that, Winking_Face

Can you try to connect the phone with HDMI to a different TV just to see if the problem will be the same? If the problem only occurs when connected with HDMI it could be related to the TV so I think we should rule this out before looking at other possibilities.

I have no chance to test that. But HDMI is negligible because charging responsiveness is much more worse. I was on vacation for some days and used my phone for navigation in the car. I used the Sony Ericsson CK100 car kit for holding and charging my phone. Sometimes, when I had to change the route or something, the phone was so unresponsive, that I had to pull the charger. After unplugging the charger I was able to use my phone normally without having to tap four or five times on an item in order to have it recognized. I think there is something seriously wrong with my phone..
