phone not working properly since latest update

hi i have recently updated my xperia sp to the latest software and i am having alot of problems.the main ones that happen about 30 times a day are the screen freezing then it goes yellow then fades to brown the starts working again and also my phone is always telling me it is not responding or certains apps or programme are not repsonding. i really do not want to do any resets or anything that will lose and wipe all my data/settings etc as only just it set all my phone up yet again from trying to fix these problems.im just so fed up as ive only had the phone a few months and paid a fair amount for it and bought it brand new and had nothing but problems.how can Sony get away with this,selling new phones that are constantly not working or having problems.any help or suggestions would be appreciated thanks

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
