Phone not recording Audio messages on Facebook massenger...

I have a Sony Xperia M2 currently running android 4.4.2 It Is not recording audio messages on Facebook massenger or on the Facebook app however it does record audio messages on whatsapp and viber... If i record a audio message on fb messenger the app would get stuck and after that I cant record audio messages anywhere until i reboot my phone... After rebooting i can record audio on whatsapp and viber but again recording it on fb messenger the problem persists....

Hi Faizi1996,

You could try performing a software update uninstall on the Facebook application.

Menu > Settings > Apps > Downloaded > Facebook > Uninstall Updates

Once this has been done try redownloading the update and then try again.

I have tried this many times have even uninstalled the app downloaded it again... Tried the older versions of Facebook app but the problem persists...

I see, you could try performing a backup to the handset and then performing a software repair to help resolve this issue

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps

I can make recordinf messages on facebook...
My friend who bought this phone too, has the same problem... What can i do?? Is it a problem that all the new xperia phones deal with? Answee me plz
