Phone not booting

Hi there,

I changed a damaged screen (Xperia T).

During the change, the coax cable was damaged too (god! shame on me!)

So the phone doesn't boot anymore. It doesn't even vibe.

The phone become gently warm during the charge so I think the battery is OK.

My question is : could the damaged coax be the cause of the failure or not.

I have to consider buying a new phone or a new cable...

Thx folks

Only use original Sony charger. Buy new one.
It might be that the battery is drained. If the battery is completely discharged, the phone needs to charge for a while before the battery status light lights up. Charge the battery for at least 30 minutes, and then turn on the phone.

To turn on the phone
Note: Make sure that the battery is charged for at least 30 minutes before you turn on the phone for the first time.

  1. Press and hold down the power key  until the phone vibrates.
  2. Wait a while for the phone to start.
