Hello there, don't know if you have managed to get sorted in the meantime but here goes anyway...
If it is just your keyboard language, then long press in a text input area either in texting app or email and you will get a pop up that says input method, select this and then select default input or standard whichever you have.
If it is the whole phone you need to find the settings icon which is the screwdriver and spanner and then count down to the 11th option (Locale & Text in English) but who know what you have got! Then tap on the first option and scroll through til you find English.
