hello,

my new sony xperia v started restarting a month back ago while i plug in the charger.it wont restart if i put the cable in and then put the switch on. i have a doubt of my micro usb port had got a small damage while i plug the cable once in a wrong way.will it happen because of that?actually i had an experience also before the micro usb port got the injury.one of the pins in the port got up and i made it down with a pin.wll it be the problem of rom or the hardware.i resetted it and having the same condition now too. Hi, don't really understand, but it is best to send phone to the local Service Centre to examine the 'damage' (unless you can live with it).

I would suggest you to perform a software repair with PC Companion or Update Service to be sure it is not a software issue.

Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary.

Hi sidharth

It happens many times, i dont know what is the speed of the wifi you are using, even i tried once using wifi but i am not able to succeeded, so later used high speed broadband and updated , it installed perfect

what i am suggesting is , try connecting using USB cable and try to reinstall the firmware, it will fix the problem
