Phone gets heated up while browsing on 2g/3g

When I browse for about 1 hr using my 2g/3g network, I see that my phone gets heated up. I confirmred that by checking the temprature which falls in the range of 32-34 degree celcius while browsing. I have not felt the same when I browse on WiFi.

Is this an expected behaviour ?

So that means that it is not advisable to browse on 2g/3g for long hours ? What is the max temprature at which the phone would be safe ?
