Phone doesn't start after update

Hi peeps

ive tried to update my phone today and its decided to not work and kill my phone all im getting on the pc screen is engine fail error 100 and on the phone softwaer update failed reconect to pc and try again

well ive tried and tried and so on and so forth ive followed all the sony help and nothing is there anyone out there that can help before i go insain

Charge your phone for 30minutes then start the whole process all over again

ive had it on charge for hours mate but ill give it a go
