Phone does not charge

2 months old. I use Sony charger. In charge for few seconds then stops. I trierd power off thing plus up volume button. I succeeded then to charge it, but only one time. Then Again cannot charge. Red Light for 2 seconds. Then nothing. Seems very bad purchase

Can you check if your device can be charge when phone is switched off? Try another charger and also try with another power source like another plug. Also connect your phone to a pc and check if your phone is detected in pc or not.

If you experience the same with different cables and/or chargers then it might be a hardware issue, you will have to contact your local Xperia care

Also, are you using a wall charger? are you using a magnetic cable?

I switched off the phone yesterday, it does not charge either. from 46 % battery, it went down to 30 % something withing a minute ! then I switched it off, and tried to plug in

I tried to switch on later on .. which was impossible

Indeed, I bought another adaptor/charger (wall charger)

the problem is the phone itself, something wrong inside.

anyway, it shows the quality of Sony and brand new items!
