Phone dialer app issue

I just found a bug in the dialer app. When dialing out to a IVR system, after connected I'll bring out the keypad to key in something. But the numbers I key in are not displayed on the screen. For example, if I need to input my credit card number, it'll be very frustrating because I may get confused of which number I just press.

I'm using the latest .199 firmware. Anyone else notice this issue?

Have you tried reinstalling the update?

 just give me few more information, are you able to use dialpad when calling a number ?? do you have any issues on that time ??

try this

>settings -> apps => all -> Keypad ->clear cache/data restart the phone and try it again, it might some software glitch is doing this way

The dialpad works fine when inputting the phone number to dial out. Yes, the problem only exists when connected but I need to input additional keys using the dialpad.

I'll try to clear data and see if it helps.

Try reinstalling the update using PC Companion or SUS and see if it helps

Last night I replaced the phone app APK with the one from Xperia ZR (.101 firmware). Guess what, it works fine. No problem at all in dialpad now. Though there's a FC from the phone app whenever I reboot the phone. But I checked the logcat and it seems to be a minor issue.

Lets just wait for a firmware update to fix this.

To my disappointment, the phone app in the latest .205 firmware, though for LT30p, still has the same problem. Seems Sony is not even aware of the issue yet.
