Phone changes to ring/silent mode automatically

I am using xperia sl for one month. Now i am facing one problem while keeping my phone in silent mode. After i keep my phone in silent mode, if i receive/make call the phone changes to ring mode. If i restart my phone keeping the phone in silent mode it remains in silent mode even after i recieve/make call. But if i change manually to ring mode and i receive/make call, it automatically changes to silent mode. Phone does not changes the mode while sending/receiving messages. Please help

You could try to clear data for Smart connect or check if you have any ringtone related app's installed on your phone. Settings > App's > All.

I suspect some app might be triggering this.

Thanks for your reply. I cleared all the data for smart connect. The only one application i installed related to ring tone is Zedge. I un installed it. But i am still facing the same problem. If i restart my phone it will work fine for 5 - 8 hours and again the problem starts. Please help

Even i am facing the same issue.

I have tried uninstalling apps.When i do that it will be for some 5-6 hours.Later it starts the same.

Can you help on this?

For me this issue is not resolved. As i said if i restart the phone, for 5 - 8 hours it will work fine. After that the problem starts.
