Phone case to help water resistance

Hi all,

Since it seems that the Z3 can in fact be damaged by water... I was wondering if anyone knows of a phone case with no holes that covers all around... just to add a little more protection when imersed in water.

And I'm not looking for the bulky big ones... just the everyday ones you see without holes around.

Hi, the only cases i have seen are infact as you mentioned the 'bulky' ones.....have seen 'pouch' type ones ......neither are very attractive nor functional 

As you are obviously concerned that your phone is not waterproof you can if you are near enough an Xperia Care Centre call in & ask about a Vacuum Test......you will obviously only see posts on the Forum from people who have suffered water damage.....you have to consider how many units have been sold compared to how many post problems on here or elsewhere.

It would be very interesting to know these figures :smileysmileywink:

There use to be something kicking about called Winner skin, There are videos on Youtube about them but the site referenced doesn't seem to have them unless there is something similar to Winner skin

I use the Ringke Fusion HD got it off Amazon. Does not cover everything though.

Yes, the 'pouch' type that i mentioned earlier.....not very attractive but does the job, i take it you could actually take your phone deeper if you used a case that gave you some sort of guarantee of safe depth etc....but only if you could use the buttons for pictures/videos

I wonder if glove mode will work with a pouch like this?
