Performance issues, crashes, heating

Okay I have bought it new with v2.3 GingerBread. It was lightning fast. Soon ICS update was released. Updated. And wow, SO SLOW. It is not what is typically called "lag", where you get terrible framerate of the screen updates. In my situation, animation is consistent, but very slow. For example scrolling a webpage or system settings menu falls behind my finger, like it would be attached via a spring... But no low framerate, animation is still there.

This lag is not there while charging or if any app is running, which is using a lot of CPU (reverse effect than expected).

Now I am running latest JellyBean firmware and it is still there.

I am sure this lag is not normal, because I did have a xperia Active, which had twice less CPU cores and memory and had no such problem. Clearly Sony is having problems with CPU management. Since this wans present and not fixed since first ICS release, I guess there is a problem with hardware. So the only solution is to get rid of the phone?...

Probably unrelated, but I also experience other problems:

2. Huge stability problems: phone hangs, sits there with screen on and whatever was on it during normal use. After 10-50 seconds it reboots. This happens randomly, even if it is deep in my pocket.

3. It heats up very quickly on sun (phone is black). I have no idea why this happens, but imagine this: it sits in my jeans pocket while I am driving a car in bright sun. The phone gets quite warm (maybe 45°C) and reduces screen brightness. Upto a level that NOTHING can be seen even in dark shade. And then it reboots. Screen brightness is OK after reboot, but goes down again soon. This is without any apps running, no GPS, etc.

4. proximity sensor not working properly (hardware is ok), as discussed in separate topic.

I just need someone to either confirm or deny that they are experiencing similar problems, as it is a huge inconvenience to send it for warranty repairs, live without a phone for a month, and get it not fixed afterwards.

Here is a video of the lag. Is this normal? Is there anyone else experiencing this kind of lag?

Thanks for your attention, but it did not help. I have over 30% of ram free. Phone storage is only 10% used. I have this problem even right after a fresh reboot. I have also tried to root it and remove some unneeded apps - did not help. I have no active walpaper and no widgets. And still problem is there.

Can someone please confirm that they are not experiencing these problems? Make a video maybe?

I need confirmation that my phone is faulty before I bring it to service center.
