Peculiar problem in my Arc S

I have a peculiar problem with the Facebook inside Xperia in my my phone. I have updated 2 ICS last month.

My calendar no longer shows my friends' b-days....To chk this I went to Performance Assistant and enabled Facebook inside Xperia.

Then i went to Settings> accounts and sync>(it shows only one FB account and no Facebook inside xperia acc)> add account> facebook inside xperia> OK> (the screen flashes for like 3-4 seconds and i get the message- Unfortunately Facebook has stopped working giving two options- report and ok.

I have tried this several times even from Settings> Xperia> Facebook inside Xperia option. Facebook just crashes.

After going here- Settings> Apps> All, i find that the FB calendar sync is enabled with all other FB processes.

So i dont knw what seems to be the problem. Any help will be appreciated. TY

Try this, go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > tap on the tab All > scroll to the bottom. See if there are any Facebook plugins/apps here that are inactivated. If you do find one (or several), just tap on them one by one and tap on "activate".

Hey Markus, I had earlier tried doing exactly wat u said. Only the FB Calendar sync was disabled...I enabled it again and rebooted my cell but to no avail. I still have the same problem. Facebook crashes when I try 2 add the 'Facebook inside Xperia' account.

I figured it out...this is wat I did. after going into accounts and sync, i found that i had kept my yahoo account off. I enabled the yahoo account sync. Then i tried adding the FB inside xperia account. It did successfully but showed sync error a red circle. I unchecked the sync items like album, calendar. I again reenabled the sync and booted my cell. Since then the Fcebook inside xperia is working like a charm. so i wanted 2 ask why i cudnt add my FB inside xperia account wen i had disabled the yahoo sync. After enabling yahoo sync then only i cud add my FB acc. Markus cn u plz explain this...this is quite bizzare. Any users who have encountered this, plz share.

That sounds a bit strange. Can't explain this. The Yahoo account should not be linked to Facebook Inside Xperia so I can't see how this could affect it. Happy to hear it's working now though.

Please post if the problem occurs again.
