PC Companion Worst Software Ever!!! Back up issues

Well, basically PC companion gets worse every time a new update is released.

I backed up my phone with some sucess and now when I want to restore it, it says its not compatbile with the device.

Its Sony Xperia S (LT26i) the same phone I backed up.

I really would like to meet a developer and voice my concern over this poor piece of design/software.

Sort it out.

Also the fact its near impossible to update on it, causing mayhem.

Even file manager is a waste of space.

It has several Problems but they didn't promiss us about fix it. they just release new smart phones instead of it. i have a restore Problem to but my problem is a little diferrent. i can restore,but nothing be restore

if you can't update it's probably your pc, update JAVA, disable antivirus/firewall and try again.

regarding back up, the Xperia S has a backup app

I agree with Bardia, its the fact I wanted to restore my data from GB to ICS like music, games from PS store and other general stuff.

Yes I realised that that have a Back up and restore app on ICS which is a very good thing, but the fact that I have been using PC companion for 2/3 years and its the same bunch of dross it has always been.

I always use SUS for updating but it wont let me backup/restore data.

I love if the developers/software engineers would buck up and sort it out.

Many people have the same problem, PC companion is currently a waste.

Im sure its a simple bug that needs looking into,
