it could be your PC missing the drivers or an antivirus blocking it
try this
install SUS > restart your PC > disable your firewall and antivirus > run SUS > turn off your phone > press and hold volume down > connect the usb cable while holding the volume down key > keep holding it
Update Service (SUS)

i am trying it from last 2 days but don't know why its not happening
that happens when you are missing the drivers, try my suggestion with SUS
Hi Tridibeshdas,
Before connecting your phone disable firewall and antivirus, then connect your phone, goto device manager and expand portable devices and check whether it's showing xperia s if it's showing then your drivers installed properly, then open pc companion with administrator i.e right click on pc companion and click run as administrator then try the process. mostly your antivirus or firewall will block the update file by thinking it's virus, if the above didn't work then uninstall your drivers in device manager and restart your pc and connect your mobile to install the drivers automatically. and make sure you connect in usb 2.0

Andrew
