pc companion need to connect to an online server?

what does this mean? my internet connection is working fine...

It happens sometimes when Sony servers are busy or having problems.

Try it in another time and the problem will go away.

It's due to problem with the servers, You will have to wait for 2-3 days, everything will be fixed by that time

I have been having the exact same problem, only once a few weeks ago my laptop connected to the server. Now updating my Xperia S is not possible. Nothing wrong with my laptop/wifi/glassfibreconnection by the way. Very annoying this.

I've experiencing the same problem 3 or 4 months ago. I connect every week to check if the problem is solved, but crearly not. Please give a solution. It's obvious that my internet connection is ok -I'm writing this after checking the PC Companion status-.
