PC Companion Menu is Not displaying

I am unable to see the menu options on the PC Companion home screen. I have purchased a new Xperia Sp and tried installing PC Companion from the phone itself, but i am not able to see the menus. I also tried downloading the setup from the website and tried unistalling and re-installing PC Companion and yet I am not able to see the menu options.

The phone is connected and it is getting detected on the PC Companion. I am using PC Companion 2.1.

Any help on how to get this working, as i have to transfer contacts to my new phone. This is what i see after I connect my phone.

If you have windows 8/8.1 run PCC compatible mode with win7

For the contacts,use myphone explorer.Try updating java in order to see those menus.
