Pairing the Acer Liquid E1 to Smartwatch 2 does not work?

Hello

I have a question about my Smartwatch 2. I can't seem to pair my Acer liquid E1, which has an Android 4.1 jelly bean operating system. I can pair my Smartwatch 2 with my Acer Smartphone. When i pair my smartphone with the smartwatch 2 using the NFC my Smartphone automatically goes to the google play store to download the Smart Connect application. Afterwards, i go to the Smart Connect App and accept the "license agreement". Then i'm not sure what to do, some sites say that you have to install the Smartwatch 2 app manually (but in the manual, i can find that it will install automatically). I installed it manually (i did these steps several times, with the documentation, sites even video's cause i wasn't 100% sure if i was doing everything just fine).

But then the last stap is the automatic restart from the smartwatch 2. That doesn't seem to happen and i can not use my smartwatch at all. Please help me to fix this particular problem of this expensive gadget :-)!

Thank you for your help!

Your sincerly

If you open Smart connect and you can see the Smartwatch 2 listed then the Smartwatch 2 app has installed - Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and it should auto connect if paired correctly which it sounds like it is unless your watch screen has images of a Pc your watch and a cross inbetween them

I had the same problem with the Acer Liquid E2. I tried 3 different SW2. None of them worked with the Acer. It seems so, that the combination Acer + SW2 is incompatible. Face_with_rolling_Eyes

Now I bought a SW1. This watch works perfect.

Hello everyone

The device is perfectly matched (i did the same steps as with my Toshiba Tablet). It matched perfectly without any troubles, but i think, indeed that the combination Acer E-types (E1, E2, E3,...) doesn't work with the SW 2... But i find it very frustrating that Sony writes: "Compatible with all 4.0 Android or higher", cause Acer E1 is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean?

However, they tried to help me by mailing an extra software kit that should resolve the problem. But even with this extra software i can't pair the SW 2 with my Acer.

So... Don't buy SW 2 if you have an Acer (i tried it with my friends HTC also, which has android 4.1, but it didn't connect at all...) Maybe this device needs some more research for the pairing with ALL android-phones...

Yours sincerly
