OUTLOOK.OFFICE365.COM SETTING

Before I update the system to Andriod 4.4.4 ( 23.0.1.A.0.167 ), it's all OK to receive mail or send the mail through Exchange ActiveSync.

But after upgrade the stsem, the mail account cannot work well and it always ask me to reset the security setting.

Even I reset the system and re-setup the mail account, it's the same.

Do anyone know how to fix it or have any idea about it.

Try to clear mail application data. I'm using it with Office 365 Business without any issues. Device is PIN protected.

Dear Sergio PL,

Thanks for your instruction.

Could you let me know the details for how to clear the mail application data.

I even reset the whole O/S but still the same.

Thanks & Best regards...

Hi!

To clear Mail application data you have to:

1) Open Settings on the home screen (Menu / Settings or slide down from top of the screen and select settings)

2) Go into "Applications"

3) Swipe right to "All"

4) Find "Mail" on the list, tap on it

5) Select "Force stop", wait as does its job

6) Select "Clear data" to clear all mail app data

7) Turn off the phone and start it again

It will wipe e-mails from Mail app memory and remove mail accounts.

After phone restarts open Settings again. Then find Accounts on the list. Remove your mail account if it is still there and reboot again.

Then start from scratch and configure mail account.

1. Open Mail

2. Add new account

3. Enter your e-mail and password

4. Select manual configuration

5. Select "Exchange"

6. Follow on-screen questions, enter e-mail address as your account name, leave domain empty

Dear SergioPL,

Thanks for providing the details.
I did follow your instruction to set the mail again.
Actually I also reset the O/S just few hours ago.
But unfortunately, I still have the same problem > <...

Since you're using Office subscription I would try to remove smartphone from device list in Office account.

You could also try to raise question through office panel (or your admin) to Microsoft support. Maybe some security feature got stuck within your account on Office subscription.
