OTG (external memory) pendrive error with media

When I connect my xperia U with a pendrive (I tried with 2 pendrives) using a OTG USB, I can read the files and for example play music, but that music or images wont add to my library of the default image and music player. I also tried with some media scanners, but they dont solve my problem. Any idea?

It seems that the stock app's for pictures and music are not able to view files via OTG. I don't know if this is something that there will be added support for in the future but in the mean time I suggest that you use a file manager to manage your files via OTG.
