Operating System in Xperia V ?

Hi,

I am looking forward to buy an Xperia V, however a little confused. Sony's official website says that it comes with OS Jelly Bean 4.1, however most of the online websites selling it shows it with with ICS 4.0. I reckon initially when Sony announced Xperia V and T they were supposed to be launched with ICS, however Sony delayed their launch and upgraded with Jelly bean with factory settings??

So if I buy an Xperia V or T, do I get ICS or Jelly Bean.

Also I notice, in the pics of xperia V on sony's official website there is no Xperia logo (legacy logo from Sony Erricson that I like very much :smileyhappy:) on the backcover, where as Xperia T has it. Why is it so?

V was come with 4.0 ICS, but there is update launched for 4.1.2 JB

Therefore if you buy V, it goes to 4.1.2 is okay, but refer to our discussion about Sleep to Death, you may not choose Sony anymore, your phone will totally dead during charing. You will miss call, miss the alarm, because the phone is dead, it's the most horrible phone for me already, dont want you to be another victim.

The Sony Ericsson Logo is gone, Sony finally buy all the shareholdings from Ericsson in 2012. Xperia T/TX was the last model with SE logo and latest model come with SONY.

Thanks Alex for responding, I did see your post concerning SOD and now seriously scared, there is no use of spending so much on a phone and it behaves like this. Though I have been a sony user for quite a long and have always been a sony fan, but now I do feel that sony is not able to match customer's expectations. Their phones dont get update and Launches are delayed. They themselves are giving way to competitiors to natch their share of Market..

And I guess since they bought all the shares now, they are owner of the logo and should continue to use it. It is identity of brand Xperia \\

However, not this SOD error on xperia V cited as big concern, I am really worried if I should go for it or Not
