I just realized that I'm now since one year a proud owner of a Z4 Wifi with BKB50.
Although the start with it was a bit of a bumpy road I'm very satisfied in the meantime.
I exchanged the charger with a fast-charge capable device. That was the biggest relief. In 1 hour charging I'm now over 75%, starting at 5%.
My main usage scenario: it's a shared device in my family with 4 users in total.
We learned that every user has to clear the used apps from the task manager. Otherwise the RAM runs out quickly and the other users suffer because obviously only the main user can squeeze out other users' apps from memory. With this little measurement the overall performance satisfaction increased a lot.
While my kids use it for games, videos and internet, my wife mainly uses the Z4 for email, shopping apps (should block those.. 😉 ) and internet. They don't use often the keyboard. When so they use it more as a stand by placing the Z4 with the screen to the outside into the keyboard for more comfy video viewing.
And then there's me: I use it together with the keyboard most of the time. The main usage are the MS Office programs Word and Excel. I'm connected to a wireless Epson printer which works perfectly on every app. Secondly I use it for software developement for my (headless) RasPi3 where I connect to wireless via SSH and VNC.
Recently I completed my whole income tax statement on it and never thought "this would have been easier on my PC".
And then there is video streaming: On weekends I love to buy some blockbusters and stream them via Chromecast stick or Miracast (build in my BluRay player) to my TV. Watching photos with the relatives on the TV is also more than easy thanks to the streaming/mirroring capabilities of the Z4.
Playing with USB/wireless gamepad is also great and I do this too often, certainly.
I don't need a laptop at all anymore as long as I have my Z4.
