On Charging Neo behaves erratically

Hello fellow Neo users,

I bought my brand new Neo V three months back, it is unrooted, on stable GB. On during charging when i use it sometimes it behaves erroneously ie keyboard starts typing by itself, swipe gets stuck. All accesories ie charger, cord are genuine as i got as packed handset. Somewhere i saw charger being near to TV can also be a cause of this, but when i boarded a train and charged there, it became out of control and was able to use it only when i disconnected it.

How can a new handset give problems?

PS- I dont have internet connection on my PC, as i was told to repair it through PC companion but without internet it doesnt work.

1) If i go to service centre what all should i backup?

2)I have already taken backup of contacts and APK of apps, will i have to fill in settings of all my app again later on?

3) what other precautions should i take before going to service centre?

4) Off topic - what would be the best anti theft measure for cellphones? saw "Lookout security" on google market which can trace location from their site..Any better alternative you can suggest?

I suspect this happens due to no proper electrical grounding since capacitive screen are really sensitive to this. Try using another cable/charger or other wall socket to rule out this problem. I don't think it's an software problem or something that need to be examined at an repair center.

Thanks johan for the quick response.The sony online support team, india told me to repair software or go to service centre [X-Ticket:93405345,2] is my ticket no.The erratic behavior is not everytime but only when charging reaches around 85-90% so its not everytime i charge but only at some time. Also when i was travelling and i charged in train and there it became totally out of control but was ok as soon as i removed charging.
