Numerous issues with phone functions

After fully charging my phone last night, I noticed that my lock button wouldn't unlock my screen. The only way I could get the screen to wake up was by double tapping the screen (thank God I had that setting on). Now that it's unlocked, I can't lock my phone again and the screen stays on no matter what. It won't even autolock after so many seconds. I changed the autolock settings a few times and nothing. Also my battery percentage is stuck at 100%. Not sure what to do. Anyone else had these issues?

That seems to be hardware related, contact your Local support to get it inspected.

Hi @Sabr_,

Welcome to the community.

I am sorry to hear you're having issues with your power button. Have you tried to restart the phone?

If the power button is not working you can force a restart by removing the SIM card.

CameronT is right, the power button is yes hardware but it's controlled via software. Apparently the power management module crashed and that is the module that control battery charge (which still appears to be 100% because as the module crashed cannot update the stats which due Linux design are stored in a simple text file) and obviously is not controlling policies like time out and lock. As the crash of such module is only root or system the only way to recover it is to restart the module manually if your device is rooted or to... Restart the device!

If after that the issue persist then it may still be a software issue where the properties/settings files got corrupted, a software repair should fix the issue.

If after the 2 steps above your power button is still not working then the issue is hardware related but I am sure it's not the case.
