notifications stop music

I have a problem, when I play music in my Walkman and a new email, Facebook notification and so on.. My music stops, plays the notification sound and continues to play music... I don't want to put it in silent mode, cause I want to hear when some one calls me.. Where can I turn off the notification sound while playing music.. I can't find it..

As far as I know,that is default.

You can choose to disable to email notification totally if you want, is under your email settings.

but you need to turn it back on when your not listening to music. Else you won't get any notification until you switch it back on for the next time.
