notification vibration setting

Hi

I don't have a setting for vibration of default notification on my sound settings, or anywhere else as far as I can see. This is a basic setting, is it really missing?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

You can set a default notification sound in the phone under Settings -> Sound -> Notification sound.

However, most apps have their own settings for notification sound and doesn't use the default one. If  you for example want to change notification for SMS you need to go to Messaging -> [menu] -> Settings -> Notification tone.

For vibration you need to set it in the app that gives the notification (Messaging -> [menu] -> Settings for SMS).
