Notification profiles?

Where do I set different notification profiles for SMS and Email? I would consider this a must-have feature!! I would obviously like to have two different sounds for email and SMS. I would also like to have no audio-warnings for my job-email after 5pm, different profile for job-mail & Gmail, only do audio-warning for inbox (not subfolders), etc etc.

I really hope I just missed this feature, as everyone kept telling me how much more flexible Android is than IOS...

Anyone? I find it unbelievable that you can have different coloured led notifications, but NO option at all as to how the phone can customize the audio signals that follow them...

If this is how flexible Android OS (or Sony's rom?) is, I am really underwhelmed...

You can set individual notification tones for each app, under settings for each of the app's you mention.

Open the app and press the menu key (three dots in a line) > settings > notification tone.

You can do this for most messaging app's.

If you by job-mail mean mail via Exchange you can set a schedule on when to sync your -E-mails. (only present in Android Jelly bean I think)

Open the E-mail application and press the menu key > sync options.
