Notification Problem!?!

Hi i have a vivaz pro and whenever someone sends me a text, my phone wont notify me (wont vibrate or give me a message) so therefore i have to manually go into the message section and check if i have a new message or not. That is really bothering me so somebody please help!! Thanks.  Oh and i also have the phone set to "General".

That's odd. Can you try to perform a software/firmwware repair using PC Companion

Connect your phone to the PC via the USB cable

The repair option on PC Companion (Support Zone --> Update --> Repair).

Please backup your phone data and settings before proceeding.

Do you have any odd looking envelope icon that has appeared at the top of the screen at all?

Nope, i don't get any notifications at all.

I had the same problem and I just moved all the messages I had in my in- and outbox to another folder and since then I'm getting notifications again.
