Has anyone managed to get the notification led to display any colours other than blue, red, green or white. Apps that I used on my previous phone were able to display colours such as magenta, cyan, orange, yellow etc., but even using an app such as Lightflow I cannot get these colours. Does anyone else have this problem, or should I suspect a faulty phone.
Thanks for any advice.
It should work, go to an app > settings > notification settings > some apps do allow you to change the color, like whatsapp, yahoo mail, etc.
Thanks uliwooly.
I've tried changing the colours as you suggest, but the led only seems to display red, blue, green or white. Other colours do not work, e.g. selecting magenta displays blue.
Has anyone managed to get the correct colours on the C5 Ultra?
@Durther, the answer is no. There are different kind of multicolor led but both rely on controllers. Apparently the controller in use by the C5 it's hard coded (via software) to provide just a limited gamma of combinations exactly to allow users to change easily colors with just using the notifications settings.
I suspect you can do that anyway but only with root.
