why my xperia T saying that the phone is up to date while it still running Ice Cream Sandwich. I tried pc companion and also sony website but they say its up to date and when I check my phone its running android 4.0.4 build 7.0A.3.195
Any idea how I update please?
If PC Companion says you have the latest update, the JB update has not yet been released for your market. The update is rolled out and release is depending of customizations, operator customizations, markets etc.
I'm having the same problem, same android, similar build (in my case 7.0.A.3.226). But I'm unhappy with your answer; I was told on Sony (in my city) that to fix the bug of my xperia sleeping to death every night while charging I had to update the software, because mine was an old version and there where updates aviable. How come then that it won't update when I come home and connect it to the computer, telling me it's up to date?
Where can I check what version is the newest in my country and operator?
Thank you.
OK. Now I've checked, and in Spain the latest version is 9.1.A.0.489. As I said I have version 7.0.A.3.226, and still it's telling me that I have the latest version. How come?
If the phone is locked to an operator, they need to release the update.
Try 'Repair My Phone' if your phone is sim free.
I am in the United Kingdom and am having the same problem with the update; I too have 7.0.A.3.195 but the Sony update page says the latest version is 9.1.A.0.489. It says the new release has 7 screens, which I really miss since switching from I phone. I am locked into a contract, does this mean I cannot upgrade the system?
The phone is not locked to any operator. What should I do?
